About Us
We are both local Padstow people whose three children have long flown the nest. Our home, The Althea Library, ceased to be a library in the 1960s but retained its name. We bought Althea Library in 1995 from the Prideaux-Brune Estate and converted it into our family home. After the children left home, we decided to open it as a Bed & Breakfast.
The Nook Self-Catering
We also run The Nook, a cosy one-bedroom, self-catering ground floor apartment, perfect for two people seeking a relaxing getaway in the heart of Padstow, Cornwall. Please visit www.thenook-padstow.co.uk for more information.
